1. Summary

CimaFlow is an entertainment discovery app that helps users browse movies, series, actors, trailers, streaming providers, and recommendations. To provide these features, the app retrieves public entertainment data from third-party services such as TMDB and may display ads through Google AdMob.

CimaFlow primarily stores user preferences locally on the device, such as selected language, region, favorite genres, favorite streaming providers, wishlist items, watched status, and favorite actors. We do not state that we collect sensitive personal information, financial information, or government identification data through the app.

2. Information We Collect

Information stored locally on your device

  • Language and watch-region preferences
  • Selected genres and streaming providers
  • Wishlist items and watched status
  • Favorite actors and onboarding choices
  • App UI preferences needed to improve your experience

Information received through third-party services

  • Public movie, TV, person, and provider metadata from TMDB
  • Trailer and video playback content from YouTube when available
  • Advertising data and device-level ad signals handled by Google AdMob

Information we do not intentionally collect directly

  • Passwords or payment card details
  • Government-issued identification numbers
  • Precise GPS location collected by the app itself

3. How We Use Information

CimaFlow uses information to operate the app and improve the user experience. This includes personalizing recommendations, restoring wishlist and watched state, remembering language and region settings, filtering content by preferred providers and genres, and presenting content in a way that matches your chosen preferences.

We also use required technical information to load trailers, images, lists, and ads, and to maintain app performance, stability, and compatibility across supported devices.

4. Advertising

CimaFlow may display native ads and interstitial ads using Google AdMob. AdMob may collect or receive device and usage information according to Google’s own privacy practices in order to deliver, limit, and measure advertising.

  • Ads may be preloaded to improve app responsiveness
  • Ads may appear within content lists and during certain app navigation flows
  • Ad delivery and measurement are handled by Google AdMob, not solely by CimaFlow

For more information about how Google handles advertising-related data, users should review Google’s privacy documentation and AdMob disclosures.

5. Local Storage

CimaFlow stores certain data locally on your device using app storage technologies such as preferences and local database storage. This allows the app to remember your onboarding selections, wishlist, watched status, actor favorites, language, and region without requiring you to re-enter them each time.

If you clear app data or uninstall the app, this locally stored information may be removed unless it has been synchronized through a third-party service in a future version of the app.

6. Third-Party Services

CimaFlow relies on third-party services to provide part of its functionality. These services may process data independently under their own privacy terms.

  • TMDB for movie, TV, person, genre, provider, and image metadata
  • YouTube for trailer playback when trailers are available
  • Google AdMob for native and interstitial advertising

All movie, series, person, poster, backdrop, and provider images shown through app content are property of TMDB and their respective owners. CimaFlow uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

7. Children’s Privacy

CimaFlow is not directed specifically to children under the age required by applicable law for independent consent. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided information in a way that raises a concern, please contact the app’s support channel listed on the store page.

8. Your Choices

  • You can change language, region, genres, and streaming providers in the app’s settings
  • You can remove wishlist items and watched history stored in the app
  • You can reset local app data through your device settings
  • You can review third-party privacy controls provided by Google or YouTube where applicable

9. Security

We aim to use reasonable technical measures to reduce risk and keep local app data appropriately handled. However, no digital storage or network transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect app updates, legal requirements, or service changes. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page.
